Damon Allen sets another record!

Damon Allen has just set the all time, professional football record for yards passing, exceeding the mark set by the great Warren Moon, who amassed 70, 533 yards over 23 seasons. Allen and Moon are the only quarterbacks to pass 70K yards in their careers, and those of us in Edmonton had the great fortune to see them both play and win championships here with the Eskimos. Considering how well Allen plays the game, and the fact that he's in such great shape, he could gather a lot more yards before he retires.

It's interesting to note that Allen is also 15th overall in yards rushing! He's nearing the mark set by Jim Brown and not too far from the total amassed by his brother Marcus Allen. A testament to a real athlete.
