GSP!!!!

Georges St. Pierre defeats Matt Hughes at UFC 65. The new welterweight champion from Canada was excellent in this fight, and Matt Hughes may have finally found someone who is actually better than he is. The first Canadian champion in the sport since Carlos Newton, who lost his title to the same Matt Hughes, may be the future of the sport - even Hughes said so. Perhaps the future has arrived. Time will tell if GSP can be as dominant a champion as Matt Hughes has been, but St. Pierre has all of the tools to do so. He also brings a welcome level of class and politeness to the sport, which could help the UFC reach an even wider audience.
